“You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.”
— Psalm 139:5
Christ Church has partnered with Springbrook Christian Academy’s hybrid homeschool program to see students transformed by the truth of God’s Word. Together, our goal is to holistically disciple children in a biblical environment so that they may know and be known by God. We recognize that a solid foundation is built when the same truths and values are taught in the home, church, and school, and we will walk with each student on their faith journey, recognizing that a relationship with Christ is the most important gift of education.
A Kingdom Education requires partnership between the church, the home, and the school and is defined by Glen Schultz as
“a life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child to Christ, building a child up in Christ,
and equipping a child to serve Christ!”
Who is HEM for?
HEM was established to serve homeschool families looking for hand-on, group enrichment opportunities. We require at least one parent to be a believer in Jesus Christ and regularly attend, and be actively involved in, an evangelical, Bible-believing church. The other parent must be supportive of Christian education. Both parents must agree to support the teaching of beliefs from Christ Church’s statement of faith.
In order to participate, you will need to apply and be interviewed to ensure this program is a good fit for your family.
